Seychelles - Praslin

A passion for nature
A unique love story
Our family guesthouse in Seychelles

We share our little precious hideaway with travellers from all over the world, all year round. If you are seeking a cosy and precious getaway, we invite you to stay with us. Join us in experiencing the islands as we do. We harvest our own fruits and have our local fisherman deliver the best the ocean has to offer. At Colibri Guesthouse we love to share with you our creole way of life.

SEAFRONT NEAR PRASLIN JETTY

Bungalows and Seaviews

Tucked away on the waterfront close to Baie Ste. Anne and the Jetty. Each of our rooms are individually designed with their unique characteristics, from high wooden ceilings, to granite rock showers, and sea views from private balconies. For your comfort all our rooms are air-conditioned.

FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

Our farmer Terry

We harvest veggies, fruits and spices from our own tropical garden. Every plant grown here, was hand -planted by Bernadette. Terry, our local farmer and really fun guy, delivers everything our garden doesn’t offer.

FRESH SEAFOOD

Our fisherman Louange

Our fisherman, Louange, catches the best fish even under difficult, and sometimes challenging conditions during the monsoon season – no problem for him! Let’s take this chance here, to say “Please take care, Louange!”.

Getting to know a place includes tasting it’s local cuisine – asking our Chefs, that’s going to be the best part of your stay with us!

A Seychellois Experience

Our amazing kitchen team and Chef Philip, now over 22 years with us, knows how to reflect the Seychelles cuisine in every menu.

Insipired by Rene’s French heritage, our team delivers the best fusion of local creole dishes with a special French note since 1995.

While retired since 2016, Rene has his daily breakfast and morning coffee  in his so beloved kitchen and passes on his expertise and knowledge to our kitchen team.

Our restaurant overlooking the bay

Getting to know our cuisin with a perfect view over our bay.
